The Society (formerly the Frederick Douglass Society) and West Chester University are pleased to invite you to the 28th Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the celebration will be offered virtually. This year's event will feature Keynote Speaker, Artist, WCU Alum, and three-time Emmy Award-winning Producer/Arranger Mr. Bill Jolly! The Society is providing this entertaining and enlightening event to our colleagues and friends free of charge. As such, we ask that you please make a donation to The Frederick Douglass Legacy Scholarship Fund. Over the years, this scholarship fund has helped a substantial number of students with purchasing books, engaging in service learning projects, attending professional conferences, and covering travel expenses for study abroad opportunities.
